Hello there! I’m so glad you’re here!

My name is Eliana Corredor. I’m a mom, wife, and passionate music educator with over 30 years of experience teaching piano and early childhood music. I teach students of all ages and abilities from my studio in the Cincinnati/Montgomery area, and I’m proud to have founded the Adult Piano Program at the Evendale Cultural Arts Center, in partnership with Cincinnati Music Village.

A little about me:
When I was a child, I dreamed of becoming an astronaut. Like so many kids, I was fascinated by the stars, the sky, and the mysteries of the universe. While my path didn’t lead me to space, it led me to a different kind of universe—one of human connection, creativity, and the joy of music.

Even though math was my favorite subject in school (and I once considered becoming an engineer), my reflective nature and artistic spirit guided me toward a humanistic career. Music became the perfect marriage of my love for numbers and logic with my passion for expression and creativity. (And yes, I still love math!)

I started learning music at the age of seven with solfeggio and began piano lessons in my hometown of Mérida, Venezuela, at nine. My musical journey has been full of magical experiences: from solo and chamber music performances to playing as a soloist with orchestras in Venezuela and El Salvador.

After earning a Master’s in Piano Performance from Butler University and an Artist Diploma from the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, I realized my true calling wasn’t to be a concert pianist but to share the gift of music with others as a mentor and teacher.

Now, I get to live my dream every day, teaching students of all ages and celebrating the joy of music together. I also have a wonderful family—my husband (a Hungarian engineer I met at the University of Cincinnati) and two amazing kids: Oliver, 18, a talented pianist himself, now in college, and Nina, 15, my special-needs daughter who inspires me with her uniqueness and fills our lives with love and laughter.

Why I love teaching piano:
Teaching piano has been the best decision of my career. It connects me to my love for people, my passion for classical music, and my interest in brain development and spirituality. I believe music has the power to enrich lives at any age, and I’m so grateful to share that joy with my students every day.
